Centerton Mayor Announces New Chief Of Police

CENTERTON (KFSM) — A city employee of more than 10 years has been promoted to police chief.

Cody Harper was announced as the new Centerton Chief of Police on Wednesday (Dec. 9) by Mayor Bill Edwards.

In a statement, Edwards said that Harper “has been employed by the city more 10 years and has worked through the ranks, starting in the patrol division and being promoted over the years to detective, sergeant, lieutenant, and recently as captain.”

Former Centerton Police Chief Rodney Reed had retired in September.
