Woman, Juvenile And Dog Rescued From Truck Stuck In Creek At Lake Tenkiller

SEQUOYAH COUNTY (KFSM) — A woman, juvenile and a dog were rescued from a truck stuck in the water in Lake Tenkiller on Wednesday (Dec. 9), according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

OHP stated in a release that the occupants in the truck were rescued by a private citizen in a pontoon boat prior to lake patrol arrival.

The truck was located near the Cherokee/Sequoyah County line at Cato Creek.

Several units also responded to the scene.
