SEQUOYAH COUNTY (KFSM) — A Fort Gibson female is in stable condition with leg injuries after the vehicle in which she was riding lost control and struck a tree on Thursday afternoon (Dec. 10).

Jerilynn McManus was admitted to Sparks Regional Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., following ambulance transportation from just west of Muldrow on County Road 1107.

Driver Joshua Bagley lost control of his Chevrolet Silverado, headed down the left side of the roadway and hit a tree with the front end of his vehicle.

According to a release from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, the cause of the collision was a DUI, and Bagley’s ability was stated to be impaired.

Bagley was also transported to the hospital, but was later treated and release. A third passenger was treated and release at the scene.
