FORT SMITH (KFSM) - It's a big day for graduating seniors at the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith as they graduate on Thursday (Dec. 10).

The college students have been waiting years for this day to come. "It's a huge relief," said college graduate Angel Shavalier.

Over 400 seniors will be walking across the stage tonight in front of a large crowd of family, friends and faculty. The students are now officially done and have their undergrad degree.

Students said they're a little sad to see their college years fly by so quickly. According to college graduate Robert Lopez, "I'm going to miss interacting with all the teachers and students."

But they won't miss writing all the papers and studying the textbooks.

"I have had pretty good experiences," said Shavalier. "I've been able to go overseas to study."

The graduation ceremony will start at 7:00 p.m. inside the Stubblefield Center on campus. No tickets are required.
