Henry and Tretola Earn AP All-America Honors

Hunter Henry and Sebastian Tretola named to AP All-America teams.

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – The honors keep rolling in for the Arkansas football team, and especially tight end Hunter Henry. Henry, along with offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola were named to AP All-America teams announced Sunday.

After winning the John Mackey Award for best tight end in the country earlier in the week, Henry became the 21st player in Arkansas history, and first tight end to earn an AP All-America first team honor. The junior finished the season with 46 receptions for the most of any SEC tight end. His 647 receiving yards leads all FBS tight ends.

Tretola was named to the All-America second team. He started all 12 games at left guard this season, and has made 23 consecutive starts. The senior has allowed just one half-sack in his career, helping the Razorbacks lead the SEC in the fewest sacks allowed each of his two seasons playing. He was also named a first team All-SEC, as well as a co-recipient of the Jacobs Blocking Trophy.

Arkansas now has a total of 38 AP selections in its history. It is the first time multiple Razorbacks have earned All-America status in the same season since 2007.
