OKLAHOMA CITY — Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle was transferred to an Oklahoma City prison to serve his 15-year prison sentence for sex crimes, according to KFOR.

Fogle was sentenced to spend more than 15 years in prison last month, after pleading guilty to receiving child pornography and traveling to have sex with minors.

Fogle’s attorney’s filed an appeal Monday for the sentence and the $175,000 fine, according to FOX 59.

Fogle is currently scheduled to be released on July 11, 2029, reported FOX 59.

During the plea deal, Fogle said, “I have become dependent on alcohol, pornography and prostitutes.”

“Not a day will go by where I won’t think of (the victims). I hope the restitution will help in their lives,” he told the court.

“It is my intent to learn from these experiences so that I never, ever do these things again,” he said. “I take full responsibility for what I’ve done.”

Fogle was staying at a facility in Henderson, Kentucky prior to his transfer to Oklahoma, FOX 59 reports.
