A weak wave in the atmosphere will move across our area on Thursday evening.

The amount of humidity is minimal so accumulation seems unlikely. The best time for a few flurries will be from around sunset to midnight.

Here’s a look at the middle of the atmosphere and you can see the weak ripple and the limited humidity.

The system will bring us an increase in clouds around sunset on Thursday evening.

Futurecast shows some of the flurries across Kansas and Oklahoma around Noon on Thursday.

Here’s a look at 7pm. There could be some sprinkles mixing with flurries moving into the area by evening.

The unusual thing about the forecast is that by Christmas week, the temperatures will actually increase into the mid 60s for the first full week of the winter season.
