FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Dre Greenlaw didn’t need a redshirt year to make an impact on the Arkansas defense.

The freshman from Fayetteville was second on the team in tackles in 2015 and was named a freshman All-American by the Sporting News on Wednesday.

Greenlaw was also named to the All-Freshman team in the SEC as well as being named the SEC’s defensive freshman of the year by Athlon Sports.

Greenlaw had 93 total tackles while registering 10 starters. He finished fifth among all college freshmen in total stops.

The Razorbacks linebacker lead Arkansas in tackles in five different games and had four games of 10 tackles or more. Greenlaw was twice named the SEC freshman of the week.
