GREEN BAY (KFSM) – Brett Goode has been a model of consistency as the deep snapper for Green Bay Packers but now the Packers will have to rely on another snapper for the first time in 137 games.

The Fort Smith native was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday after suffering a torn ACL in Sunday’s win over the Raiders.

Goode played in all 14 games this season and in each of the past 137 in his career.

A Northside and Arkansas graduate, Goode signed a three year contract extension with Green Bay in 2012. His contract expires at the end of the 2015 season.

Goode signed with the Packers in 2008 and played in every regular season game and every postseason contest with the franchise since, including Super Bowl XLV.
