XNA (KFSM) -- The Huffington Post released an article about the worst airports in the country, and Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport, or XNA, came in as No. 5 on the list.

Surprised? You're not alone.

Kelly Johnson, airport director for XNA, said the airport is not to blame, because the report is actually grading the airlines.

"The fact of the matter is we have excellent service," Johson said. "What happens when there's a hiccup in the system, the large hub backs up. We're a victim of what happens at these large hub airports."

No. 1 on the list is Newark Liberty International Airport, followed by LaGuardia, Washington Dulles International and Chicago O'Hare International.

According to the Huffington Post the numbers were crunched by analysts at travel math. They used bureau of transportation statistics data from 2015 to rank 322 U.S. Airports. They ranked them on six factors, including the number of cancelled flights, the average delay time and the number of minutes it takes to taxi to the gate.
