EDMOND, Okla. — A large earthquake shook central Oklahoma early Tuesday morning (Dec. 29), causing damage and knocking several citizens out of power.
The U.S. Geological Survey recorded a 4.3 magnitude quake around 5:40 a.m.
The epicenter of was around I-35 and Covell in Edmond, KFOR reported. About 10 minutes later, another 3.4 magnitude earthquake hit the area.
Residents in parts of Edmond were briefly out of power following the quake, KFOR reported.
