SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — A man’s body was found Thursday (Dec. 31) near a Tyson Foods Inc. plant in Springdale, according to police.
Police were notified about a body in a wooded area behind the plant located near Thompson Street and Randall Wobbe Lane around 1 p.m., Lt. Derek Wright said.
He said not foul play is suspected at this time, but the investigation into the manner of death is ongoing. It’s unknown how long the man had been there before he was discovered.
The body has been sent to the state crime lab for positive identification, according to Wright.
