BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — The Bentonville Parks and Recreation department decided to extend the skating season at the Rink at Lawrence Plaza.
The unusually warm weather contributed to the department’s decision, they said in a press release.
The rink will be open for both open skating and broomball, which is a game similar to hockey. It’s played with broomsticks, a heavy plastic ball and tennis shoes instead of hockey sticks, a puck and skates.
