Two Hospitalized After Semi Jackknifes, Burns On Interstate 40

JOHNSON COUNTY (KFSM) – Two people are being treated for minor injuries  at a Clarksville Hospital after their semi jackknifed on Interstate 40 early Thursday morning (Jan. 14).

Arkansas State Police said the accident happened in Johnson County around 2 a.m.

The driver was headed westbound when his truck ran off the roadway and caught fire.

Troopers said three men stopped to help pull both the driver and passenger from the burning truck.

Both men injured are expected to be okay, troopers said.
