FORT SMITH(KFSM)- UA-Fort Smith Lady Lions beat Oklahoma Panhandle State Thursday by 30 points, but Saturday night they were unable to edge the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps losing 50-73.
The Lady Lions had a hard time trying to keep up with the No. 4-Ranked Lady Chaps, but Senior Forward Jasmine Brainard led UAFS with 16 points. The win makes the Lady Chaps (15-0, 7-0) still undefeated and at the top of the Heartland Conference.
The Lady Lions are back on the road Jan. 21 to play Oklahoma Christian in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
