SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — Arrest reports for the six suspects arrested thus far in connection to a fatal stabbing at the Scottish Inn in Springdale state the victim, Eliazar Torres, 21, was stabbed in the neck and then died from his injuries several days later.

Six suspects have been arrested since the stabbing, which happened just after 3:30 a.m. on Jan. 11, according to police.

Hector Trejo, 17, is facing capital murder and aggravated residential burglary charges, police said. He will be charged as an adult, according to the Washington County prosecutor’s office.

Matthew Guod, 21, Hernan Rodriguez, 18, and Victor Araujo, 19, all of Springdale, are facing accomplice to capital murder and residential burglary charges, police said. Nicolas Torres, 20, of Springdale, was arrested on suspicion of hindering apprehension, according to police.

Ulises Manjarrez, 19, was the latest arrest, which was made Jan. 15, and he is also facing accomplice to capital murder and residential burglary charges, police said.

Suspects’ Arrest Reports: Springdale Scottish Inn Victim Was Stabbed In Neck

When officer were called to the Scottish Inn on Jan. 11, they found a broken window, a broken door and large amounts of blood in and around room 218, the arrest reports state. Officers were then notified that the victim was brought to Northwest Medical Center with critical injuries, according to the reports.

Based on several witness statements, Trejo, Guod, Rodriguez, Araujo and Manjarrez were observed breaking the window and door to the room, the reports state. During the fight, Eliazar Torres was stabbed in the neck, according to the reports. All of the suspects came to the Scottish Inn with the purpose of engaging in a fight, the reports state.

Nicolas Torres is facing hindering apprehension charges because he knowingly withheld and provided false information about the fight and the other suspects’ involvement, according to the reports.
