You may have seen the bright “star” last night near the Moon. It was the planet Jupiter and it’ll be visible in the eastern sky over the next few weeks.
It reaches conjunction (opposite of our Sun) on March 8th.
Looking in the east direction, here’s when to see Jupiter rise:
- January 28th: 9:06pm
- January 29th: 9:02pm
- January 30th: 8:58pm
- January 31th: 8:53pm
Weather conditions will be perfect for the next few nights with clear skies and comfortable evening temperatures in the 40s and 50s.
