LEFLORE COUNTY (KFSM) — A man was taken to a Tulsa hospital by medical helicopter Tuesday (Feb. 9) after he was seriously injured in a rollover accident in LeFlore County, according to the Poteau Police Department.

Quinton Bell, 44, of Paris was driving northbound on Highway 59 when he left the roadway, hit two signs, over-corrected and rolled his pickup truck, police said. Bell was ejected before the pickup came to rest at the nearby railroad tracks, according to police.

Police said the conductor of a passing train saw the vehicle and Bell and called 911 at about 6:45 a.m. It’s possible Bell had been laying near the wreck since about 4 a.m. before someone saw him, according to police.

Bell suffered injuries to his trunk, arms, legs and head and was flown to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, police said.
