FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- Many people will buy a bouquet of flowers for the special person in their life this weekend, which means flower shops are very busy.

When it comes to flowers, Fridays Flowers in Fayetteville said they get the most requests for roses because red is the color of love.

Owner Vicki Rice said she plans months in advance. Rice said some people pick out what they want their flowers to look like while others can go on their website and pick out a prearranged bouquet.

"Every flower that's delivered, it's a smile," Rice said.

Decorator Brooke Widner said, "It is chaotic, but it's kind of like controlled chaos."

Many said the best time to deliver flowers is on Friday so that the flower recipients can set their flowers right on their desk for everyone in the office to see.
