CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) — Lane closures are in effect for portions of Interstate 49 through Crawford County as crews with the state’s highway department work to repave the road Tuesday (Feb. 16).
Officials with the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department said the closures will alternate as needed between both the inside and outside lanes of traffic over the next few weeks.
Crews will be working from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until the work is complete.
AHTD officials asked that drivers traveling on I-49 use caution through the construction zone as the work continues.
