Amber Alert Issued For Missing Child After Machete Stabbings In Oklahoma

EL RENO, Okla. (KFSM) — Authorities have issued an Amber Alert for a child who went missing following a machete stabbing that critically injured two people in El Reno, Oklahoma, late Wednesday night (Feb. 17).

According to police, the stabbings happened just before 11 p.m. in the 200 block of Elm Street in El Reno. Two men were attacked with a machete and transported by a helicopter to an Oklahoma City hospital.

Luciano Salazar, 44, suffered several cuts to his face, head, neck and right hand and Juan Carlos Rangel-Fiscal, 32, suffered cuts to his face and his hands were nearly severed, according to police. Both men were listed in critical condition.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a child, identified as Mabel Lopez, 8, who went missing following the stabbings. She is believed to be with the stabbing suspect, Arcenio De Jesus, 39, and De Jesus’ wife, Miria Lopez-Rodriguez, 33, also known as Maria Lopez or Maria Ramierez. She is listed as an additional victim in this case.

The wife and child are believed to be in danger.

All three are believed to be en route to Mexico in a dark green 2005 Ford Explorer with an Oklahoma license plate 689LHD. The vehicle is not registered to De Jesus. He does not have a valid Oklahoma Driver’s License.

De Jesus was arrested in 2015 for DUI and driving without a valid operator’s license.

Police said the victims of the machete stabbing lived in the same house as De Jesus and Lopez-Rodriguez.
