JOHNSON COUNTY (KFSM) -- According to Coal Hill Police Chief Brad Kent, Danny Wayne Sims was arrested after a team of police, county deputies and Arkansas State Police searched the area north of Coal Hill on Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 23).
Sims, 42, was thought to be a suspect in multiple chases, beginning with a stolen vehicle theft and high speed chase in LeFlore County on February 14.
Sims led Johnson and Logan County deputies on a pursuit. He was the driver and only occupant in the vehicle.
Kent stated that he and Johnson County deputy made contact with Sims and arrested him in a shop building.
Sims is behind bars at the Johnson County Detention Center, booked without a bond.
The charges listed are two counts of breaking or entering.
