SEBASTIAN COUNTY (KFSM) -- Sebastian County Treasurer Judith Miller won the race against her opponent Steve Hotz Tuesday (March 1).
With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Miller took 59 percent of the vote, and Hotz took 41 percent.
Miller has served as treasurer for eight years, and is currently being investigated by the Arkansas Ethics Commission, after two complaints were filed against her during the campaign. The commission is looking into whether she drove a county vehicle to political events.
5NEWS spoke to Miller Tuesday night.
"It is great. I have the most wonderful staff in the world. And we're going to continue to serve the citizens of Sebastian county the best we can," Miller said.
Hotz is the Sebastian County Human Resources Director, and will continue working in that position.
