FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Arkansas knew it wouldn’t last all season but the Razorbacks were hoping their win streak to start the year would go longer than eight games.

Louisiana Tech made sure it didn’t.

The Bulldogs got three RBI from Raphael Gladu while their starting pitching struckout eight and stranded eight more as the Razorbacks fell 3-2 at Baum Stadium.

Arkansas (8-1) had a chance to tie the game in the eighth as it loaded the bases with two outs but Clark Eagan struck out swinging to end the threat.

Carson Shaddy gave the Razorbacks a 1-0 in the first with a solo home run to right field and helped the top three batters in the Arkansas order pick up four hits but the rest of the team went 2-of-23.

The Razorbacks are back in action on Friday as they begin a three-game series with Eastern Illinois.
