PRAIRIE GROVE (KFSM) — A Prairie Grove woman whose dog mauled a cyclist last month was arrested on suspicion of terroristic threatening after she allegedly cyber-bullied a teen.

Ashtyon Slavens, 18, was arrested on Tuesday (March 1) by the Prairie Grove Police Department and was taken to the Washington County Jail.

On Feb. 2, Prairie Grove police were called to the home of a 17-year-old girl, who was “crying hysterically” after she was allegedly threatened online by Slavens, according to an incident report. Slavens allegedly posted on Facebook, threatening the girl with violence and death. The girl had to be taken to a local hospital.

Police spoke to Slavens, who accused the girl of sleeping with her boyfriend.  Officers asked her to come to the police department to be cited, but she didn’t comply.

Later that month, police received a tip that Slavens had again contacted the girl, as well as her parents, the report states. The girl’s parents said that Slavens was continuing to terrorize the girl. Police received copies of the messages.

On Feb. 15, police sent the case to a prosecutor, who issued a warrant for her arrest.
