First things first… the weekend:
Saturday we’ll see increasing clouds and moisture returns highs in the 60s to near 70.
Sunday will become overcast with rain arriving late in the evening. Most of the weekend looks pretty good.
Here’s the set-up for next week.
The jet stream take a huge dive to the south with a large slow moving trough of low pressure that will slowly move east across the plains.
The result will be rain chances nearly everyday with the heaviest rain focused on Tuesday.
Severe weather doesn’t appear to be a huge risk due to the slow moving nature of the system, but remains a limited possibility.
Rain will be in the forecast nearly everyday next week.
The specifics will be refined as the forecast evolves but flooding could be an issue with up to 8″ possible across the Natural State.
