FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Moses Kingsley has been the biggest surprise to those outside the Arkansas basketball program and Tuesday he was recognized for it.
The Arkansas center was named to the All-SEC second team as well as the league’s All-Defensive team. Kingsley is second in the SEC with 75 blocked shots in 31 games and recorded a block in every game but one. His 75 blocked shots ranked ninth on the school’s season record list.
Kingsley recorded 15 double-doubles and led the Razorbacks with 16.1 points per game and 9.2 rebounds. The Nigeria native was also named to the United State Basketball Writers Association All-District team. District VII is comprised of teams from Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana.
Arkansas will face Florida in the SEC Tournament at Noon on Thursday.
