More rain is expected for Thursday but unlike the last few days we’ll see lesser amounts of rain as the stationary front drifts south.
The stationary front is across central Arkansas with the heaviest rain shifting to the southeast across Louisiana and Mississippi.
North of the front the rain will be lighter, south of the front the rain will be heavier. Severe weather and flash flooding are not expected.
Here’s a look at how the forecast plays out tomorrow…
Thursday Morning 6am Drive Time: Overcast with scattered areas of light rain; heaviest in Fort Smith & south.
Noon Thursday: Heaviest rain in SE Arkansas, Scattered light rain here at home.
Thursday 6pm: More scattered light rain across the area.
Rain chances will continue into the weekend until the upper level low finally moves east of the area sometime late Sunday with a return of sunshine.
