BETHEL HEIGHTS (KFSM)–A high speed chase, reaching speeds up to 100 mph, ended in a crash just after 10:45 p.m., Friday (March 11).

The driver and passenger were taken to the hospital and have since been released and taken to the Benton County Jail, according to Cpl. Chasity Mahan.

Mahan said a Bethel Heights police officer went to initiate a traffic stop at Highway 71-B, when the chase ensued.  Police said Colton Neal, 23, then wrecked the white Honda Accord he was driving at a sharp curve off Wagon Wheel Road.
