POCOLA (KFSM) — A Pocola business was destroyed after it caught fire early Tuesday morning (Mar. 22).
Firefighters said an antique store along Highway 271 went up in flames around 3:30 a.m. When fire crews arrived on scene, the building was fully engulfed in flames.
Pocola Fire Chief Wesley Riggs said that the fire could have started in the north side of the building. At this time, they think the fire sparked due to an electrical issue.
They were out there for several hours working to get everything under control.
Business owners said they lost thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
