If you're inked up, you may be less prone to getting sick.

University of Alabama researchers studied the way tattoos can affect your immune system.

They found that a single tattoo can temporarily lower your resistance to catching a cold.

However, the more tattoos someone had, the more that person build up their resistance -- meaning the body was building up more of a tolerance against getting sick.
