Here's another reason why you should eat your veggies -- new research shows that leafy green vegetables helps to fight depression.

The recently published study found that veggies can reduce a person's risk of depression by up to 62 percent.

Scientists attribute the figures to high levels of antioxidants found in the vegetables.

They also said that eating lots of fruits and veggies generally helps support a healthy brain, making people happier, calmer and more energetic.
