FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – After one season with the program, Lorenzo Jenkins has decided to transfer from the Arkansas basketball program.
“After meeting with Lorenzo Jenkins we have mutually decided it is in the best interest of his future to pursue another institution to continue his career,” Arkansas coach Mike Anderson said. “We wish him nothing but the best moving forward.”
Jenkins appeared in just one game as Arkansas went 16-16 in 2015-16 and played seven minutes while going 1-of-4 from the field with three points.
Jenkins, a 6-foot-7 guard from Naples, Fla., was the Class 3A District 18 player of the year as a senior and averaged 14.3 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He was also named to the 3A all-state team that season.
