Lace up your shoes and get ready to move. The American Heart Association's Heart Walk is returning to Northwest Arkansas this weekend.
Stephanie Daniels, senior heart walk director, and Brandi Morgan, a volunteer, joined Daren Bobb to discuss the American Heart Association fundraiser.
There will be both a walk and a 5K run during the event on Saturday (April 16) at Arvest Ballpark. It will start at 8 a.m.
The majority of funds raised during the heart walk will go toward research and education, 80 cents for every dollar raised, said Stephanie Daniels, senior heart walk director.
