YELL COUNTY (KFSM) — A Dardanelle Public Schools janitor has been arrested on suspicion of sexual indecency with a a child.
Investigators with the Yell County Sheriff’s Department took Matthew Marcellus, 32, into custody on Friday (April 8).
The sheriff’s department stated in a release that Marcellus sent obscene images to at least one eighth grade student, and then also purchased gifts for another eighth grade student.
Marcellus is no longer employed, as the school district stated that he had resigned his position following the incident.
His bond has been set for $10,000.
