RIVER VALLEY (KFSM) – On Tuesday (April 12), volunteers made a difference in our community by participating in the United Way’s Day of Caring.
This is a day that many volunteers look forward to throughout the year. They spend their time making a difference in the area to several local organizations and nonprofits. Many of the organizations don’t have the money or the time to do projects that are needed to be done. However, having the extra volunteers for even one day is a huge help.
Volunteers were hard at work doing all sorts of different projects around the community including painting, yard work, and reading to the elderly.
They either devoted a half or a full day worth of time to their respective projects.
