It was a record that most thought would never be broken but the Golden State Warriors had other ideas.
Steph Curry knocked down 10 3-pointers in the first three quarters as the Warriors routed Memphis, 125-104, to win their 73rd game in the regular season, a new NBA record.
The previous record was held by Michael Jordan’s 1995-96 Chicago Bulls as they went 72-10.
Steph Curry scored a game high 46 points and hit 10 3-pointers while sitting our the fourth quarter. Curry became the first player in NBA history to make 400 3-pointers as he went 10-of-19 from long distance.
Golden State will be the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference when the playoffs begin this weekend.
