FARMINGTON (KFSM)-The Lady Cardinals were looking for redemption against Gravette after losing to them last Friday by just one-run. Thursday they got just that winning big 9-1.

"The last time we didn't do so well," said catcher Alyssa Reed on the rematch.  "We had a really early practice the next day so it's great to just come back and win."

Head Coach Randy Osnes, in his 20th season was also excited about getting the win.

"It was a good game after getting defeated last week on Friday this was a sweet game."

In Thursday's game pitcher Paige Devecsery picked up her 10th win of the season. The Sophomore has been on fire for Farmington, striking out 63-batters helping them be 15-7 overall and 6-2 in league play.

"It feels amazing having my team and me behind me," said Sophomore pitcher Devecsery. "I can pitch my pitch and not worry about an error or anything."

The Lady Cardinals are going to the momentum from their three-game win streak into their doubleheader Monday against 5-A defending state champs Vilionia.

"Having this win is going to be a huge thing, knowing our batting and my pitching and my defense I think we can take Vilonia."
