FORT SMITH (KFSM) — A man involved in a city-wide search one week ago has pleaded not guilty to multiple felony charges.

Tony Martin, 47, was charged with aggravated residential robbery and first-degree battery with a weapon, in relation to the reported shooting.

Police had responded to a shooting on the 4200 block of Kinkead Avenue, at the Boardwalk Apartment complex just after 3:30 a.m. on Thursday (April 14).

According to release, Rekardro Pore, 38, had an apparent gunshot wound to his right cheek from a small-caliber handgun. He was found at a residence in the 600 block of North 44th Street, and was then taken to a local hospital.

At the apartment complex, police found another victim, Aaron Tash, who had a small cut to his shoulder that he got during a struggle with Martin, according to the release. Pore was also shot during the struggle when he tried to intervene.

Both men were expected to recover.

Martin was also charged with aggravated robbery, terroristic threatening and theft of property for a previous incident, in which a man reported being robbed at gunpoint in a Dallas Street apartment complex.

His bond for both criminal filings has been set at a combined $500,000.
