BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) — The National Weather Service in Tulsa confirmed that a tornado was the cause of some damage in the northern Centerton area early Wednesday morning (April 27).
The tornado was rated as an EF-1 that traveled two miles, with a maximum path width of 350 yards.
The NWS stated that the tornado uprooted a few trees, snapped large tree limbs, and damaged the roofs of homes.
The maximum estimated wind speed was 85-95mph. It started just more than one mile north of Centerton at 12:41 a.m.
