FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- Arkansas offensive lineman Denver Kirkland was not selected in the 2016 NFL Draft. But, shortly after the draft concluded Kirkland signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Oakland Raiders.
Kirkland decided to forgo his senior season to declare for the NFL draft. He paved the way for 1,000 yard rushers and protected Brandon Allen, who was only sacked 36 times in three seasons.
The former Hog offensive lineman had a poor performance at the NFL Scouting Combine, Kirkland had the lowest score out of the 46 offensive linemen.
