FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — The National Weather Service in Tulsa determined Wednesday (May 4) two additional tornadoes touched down in Franklin County during the April 26 storm outbreak.
According to the NWS, an EF-1 tornado touched down near Charleston and an EF-0 tornado touched down near Ozark.
The other tornadoes recorded on April 26 include:
- Muldrow: EF-1 with maximum winds of 100 to 110 miles per hour
- Kibler: EF-1 with maximum winds of 90 to 100 miles per hour
- Decatur: EF-1 with maximum winds of 100 to 110 miles per hour
- Centerton: EF-1 with maximum winds of 85 to 95 miles per hour
- Wesley: EF-1 with maximum winds of 100 to 110 miles per hour
This latest report from the NWS brings the total of tornadoes that touched down in the area to seven.
