GREENWOOD (KFSM) – There’s an opportunity for you to find the perfect gift for mom on this upcoming Mother’s Day while supporting local crafters.
More than 50 quilts will be display throughout the building with vendors showing their talents. On sale, is the equipment that help make the beautiful quilts such as templates, sewing machines, fabric, and rulers.
Also, a special exhibit will be on display called “Sisters Sewing Together.” The exhibit features quilts created by three sisters that took this hobby with each other. Each sister produced the same pattern with their own unique twist.
With more than 400 people coming out last year, organizers said they’re hoping for a large turnout this year over Mother’s Day weekend.
The show will be on Friday (May 6) and Saturday (May7) from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Bell Park Pavilion in Greenwood.
