Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Rape, Bond Set At $1 Million

FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — The bond for a man arrested Friday (May 6) on suspicion of rape has been set at $1 million.

Jack Gilbreath, 38, was taken into custody for an incident that occurred April 15. According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, he was arrested on suspicion of rape with forcible compulsion and aggravated residential robbery.

Gilbreath is alleged to have entered the home of an older female and raped her, a statement from the sheriff’s office stated.

A release from the sheriff’s office at the time of the incident stated the residence to be located on Highway 309, south of Ozark.

An investigation is ongoing.
