FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man who died in the jail.
Cody Franklin, 20, of the Mountainburg area, died Wednesday (May 11), according to the sheriff’s office.
Arkansas State Police continues to investigate the death, the sheriff’s office stated that no further details can be released.
According to an online database, Franklin had been booked on suspicion of obstructing governmental operations.

The Arkansas State Police had confirmed to 5NEWS that it is conducting a death investigation at the Franklin County Jail.
Sheriff Anthony Boen stated that an inmate died in the jail, but could not release any additional information until the family was notified.
