LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) — Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge rejected a proposal on Thursday (May 12) to allow three casinos to operate in Arkansas.
One of the casinos proposed would be built in Washington County.
Rutledge cited “ambiguities in the text and the absence of a complete summary of the proposal in the ballot title.”
The proposal also petitioned the operation of casinos in Boone and Miller counties.
