FORT SMITH (KFSM)— A man is recovering in the hospital after being stabbed early Sunday (May 15), according to Fort Smith Police.
Officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of North 36th Street around 12:30 a.m. after a caller reported someone had been stabbed.
The victim, Liveron Gilbert Jr., 28, was found with stab wounds to his abdomen and injuries to the back of his head, according to police.
Police said Gilbert reported he had been attacked by as many as five people while visiting his ex-girlfriend.
