Losing Streak Reaches 11 As Hogs Fall At Mississippi State

Razorbacks commit five errors as Bulldogs post 7-0 win

STARKVILLE, MS (KFSM) – Arkansas had just five hits and committed five errors No. 4 Mississippi State rolled to a 7-0 win in the SEC series opener.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a first inning lead and then took advantage of Arkansas miscues. Razorbacks’ starter Dominic Taccolini was charged with seven runs, four of which were unearned.

The loss pushed the Razorbacks losing streak to 11 games and sends Arkansas (26-27) below .500 for the first time this season. The Hogs started the season 8-0.

Arkansas is still alive for the SEC Tournament as Auburn was swept in a doubleheader at Vanderbilt and Tennessee lost to Georgia. The Razorbacks are not capable of catching Missouri as the Tigers took down Kentucky and moved to 9-19 in SEC play.
