VAN BUREN (KFSM) -- A power outage affecting more than 600 households in Crawford County was caused by a storm Wednesday afternoon (May 25).
Power companies told 5NEWS that winds blew down a tree in Van Buren, which then knocked down a power line near North Hills Boulevard.
The power outage map for OG&E listed 672 outages in Van Buren, as of 5:30 p.m. The power has since been restored.
A brief power outage was also reported in Fort Smith after a transformer issue. It has since been addressed.
