Nothing about El Zarape is typical. You might try to lump it into the "Tex Mex" category, but it is definitely more Tex Mex with a twist. The food has all the flavor and spice without being overwhelming. Another way they are different is the eclectic menu that features such creations as roasted salmon and smoked shrimp enchiladas.

This is not your traditional Tex-Mex. The chicken Melissa had had Poblano peppers with a sherry wine sauce and tasted amazing. Melissa says if you're the type of person that likes to get the same dish every time, you have got to venture out and try this. Melissa explains, it is definitely unique and delicious.

You definitely taste the fact that almost everything is made from scratch in house with their own spin on it. But they don't stop there. The presentation is a show in itself!

Terry Erwin, a frequent customer says, "It's convenient. The food is amazing and the atmosphere too. It's the service, these guys are ridiculously funny and they're so personable."

In addition, they have a great patio, unbeatable happy hour specials and live music on Thursday evenings. It's upscale dining with affordable prices. And if you mention you saw their story on 5NEWS, you get a FREE small cheese dip!

From the flavorful food, to the fun atmosphere, to the friendly waitstaff, you can't beat El Zarape.
